We have an 80 yr old house with several half-round and quarter-round windows in the attic of the house and garage. These windows just tilt in and out for ventilation. There is no hinge, no lock, no fasteners, nothing. When you tilt it out, you place it on the floor somewhere for the summer.

My question is this: now that the windows are in place for winter, what can we do to prevent tons of cold air pouring in around them? Are there any examples short of "glueing" them in place with caulk for the winter?
