    Default k-boxes

    I watched an episode in boston [?] that had a lady desighner come in and use boxes to replicate the cabinets and appliances to see how the would work by moving them around on the open floor, does anyone know where to get such items?[boxes], im in nh 03055.........thanks

    Usually they are made on site out of cardboard, craft paper, plywood, cut up boxes or what ever else is available. However you should be able to check the Yellow pages for companies that sell cartons.

    alright!... you guys have it all wrong!!! instead of making a very large mistake[5-10-15-20k+] plus dollars for a kitchen not set-up as COULD be, these are JUST CARDBOARD REPLECAS OF STOVES,DISHWASHER,REFRIGS,CABINETS,ETC. TO GIVE AN IDEA OF WHAT WILL FIT WHERE!!!!, i think it was in the boston mass episode, maybe a year ago, with two[2] apartments being made out of one house...................anyone now remember???.....thanks

    Some brains work spatially and some do not. I can see a flat plan in my minds eye and see it as 3-D....... Good for me and whoopee. Maybe you can't.

    If you can not just mock them up out of what ever is handy or buy some cardboard and make them.

    Oh contraire ---- we fully understand the importance.

    Many times I've shown folks that don't have the ability to see things spacially by using tape to lay out things ----- including designers and architects.
    If that isn't enough mock ups are done --- with cardboard , brown wrap paper , or build temp mock ups with lumber.

    Just seems frivolous to procure replicas.
