    Default Shower Wall Mildew

On the outside of the drywall, just above the shower stall and just to the right of my shower head I have mildew appearing. Paint on the wall is peeling just a little, the drywall appears and feels dry, not soft or wet. Could I have a leak behind the shower wall ?

Anythings possible but it sounds to me like you have an issue with venting your bathroom. Do you use an exhaust fan when you shower or do you let the bathroom stream up a bit? Sounds like you do steam the room up a bit.
There's also paint/primer like Zinnser products that's a mildew resistant paint.

Thanks Andybulidz, I noticed my vent is over the sink area away from the shower. I will take your advice, clean and repaint and try to vent better.
