    Default Exterior paint is peeling

I installed Pella double hung windows on my house many years ago.
Back then I did not have the money to get clad windows so I had to get wood windows. They came already primed and ready for painting. I used a good quality exterior latex paint. Every 4 or 5 years I have to sc****, sand and repaint them because the paint is peeling. Is there anything I can do to avoid having to repaint them every few years?

Yea, I can understand your problem as how difficult is the maintenance of double hung Wood windows. It always get moisten and hence become hard to prevent mold and mildew, and then the paint peels and the wood begins to rot/ I think the best method to remove old paint is by using a heat gun and paint sc****r. This would make your task a bit easy.
