    Default Showerhead Replacement Problem

We Just Relaced The Original Showerhead With A Handheld Massager And, After Completing The Job, There Is An Extra Little Washer Thing......does This Go In The Actual Massager? Where Does It Go? Moved It From Previous Home And Cant Find Instructions.
    THANKS !

Google the brand of hand-held shower, you will probably be able to find an instruction manual for it. Odds are the washer goes either at the connection to the shower neck (the pipe coming out of the wall at head height), or in the handle between the hose and the hand unit. If there is already a washer in these locations, this extra washer could be a restricter washer designed to lower the water flow (a water saving device).

If the hole in the washer is about 1/8" - 3/16" it is the water restrictor. It goes in whichever female threaded fitting it fits snugly. To confirm this, check out the same item sold in home center plumbing depts. or supply stores -- they are also sold separately, so you can match it up to be sure, or you can show yours and ask someone there if that's what it is just to be positive.
