Default Suddenly it's a laundry room...

One little water leak between the bathroom and our son's bedroom turned into a major remodel in our 1990 mobile home. Though we made a bigger bathroom, we moved our son into the office and decided to use the resulting space at the end of the hallway for a laundry room. How do I make the best use of this space once I get the washer and dryer in? (They go around the corner to the left in the pics; the cupboard pictured went back into the bathroom.) I priced a tall broom closet at over $400 - can't I do better? We did the work on the bathroom ourselves, and I work/own a hardware/lumber store so the raw materials and basic tools are not a problem. I need design help! We are not very patient with the finer finish work, so fancy or detailed is out. Our house is SO short on storage, I need to use every inch to it's best.
