Default Looking to get an Automatic Water Shut Off Valve

We had in the past a very bad bursting of a toilet pipe, which damaged significantly everything below (entire basement).

We saw on the TV "Ask This Old House" a device which would stop the flooding, called "AUTOMATIC WATER SHUT OFF VALVE".

We are trying purchase it on the internet to no avail.

If you know where to get it, please let us know.

    Many thanks,

I would like to know, too. I was just watching the "This Old House Hour" and they demonstrated a small valve that will shut the water off if the hose to the sink was cut. It looks like a get product!

I've dug and searched, but does anyone know the manufacturer of the inline automatic toilet/sink shut-off valve shown in last week's show?

The links in the previous post do not seem to lead to this valve

    Any help appreciated

I found the floodsafe product at Home Depot, but the demonstration on the show was a small valve as you have mentioned. I can't find that small insert. If you find it, would you let me know.

The floodsafe hose was what he demonstrated. The small insert was actually a cutaway of the control unit used to demonstrate how it worked.
