    Default water heater problem

I'm trying to flush my hot water heater but the drain valve at the bottom is either stopped up or damaged. In any case, it won't let me drain the tank. What can I do?

You can cut the supply to the tank and the hot outlet and use compressed air to blow out the tank. Or if there isn't anything to worry about on the floor you can unthread the draincock from the tank but that could be messy.
