    Default Woodshop walls

I am currently finishing a new woodshop under my detached garage. The walls are currently block. I am using metal studs, insulating, and then will be drywalling the ceiling and walls. My question, is drywall the best material to use, or should I use another material?

    Drywall is a good choice.

I have drywall in my shop, I then ran a 24" band of 3/4"plywood around the perimeter to attach shelving, tool hanger, bit cabinets , etc.
