    Default flourescent lighting

    Hello everyone,

I am having difficulty with a flourescent light that goes off and on for no apparent reason. I have replaced the ballast as well at the wall switch, but it keeps doing the same thing.

Anyone have a suggestion as to what may be going on? Or what I can do to repair it?

Thanks in advance for your help.

upnorth... it may be the sockets for the tubes having poor contacts.
Either being too loose not allowing the pins on the tube to remain connected to the point the tubes may fall out , the contacts are corroded , or the sockets may be broken.

If the problem is not at the light fixture itself there may be an issue of a loose neutral or hot connection somewhere else in the circuit that feeds the light fixture.
