    Default Electromode thermostat

We own a 1955 ranch and I have an Electromode thermostat on the wall in my daughter's bathroom; however I don't know what it controls. Any ideas? I have a heated tile floor in my master bath but, that is controlled by a White Rodges thermostat and my daughter's floor is not warming up. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Google the word "electromode" to get a list of different applications for this type of thermostat, which is rated at about 20 amps.

They are usually used for radiant floor heat, electric baseboard, an overhead heater fan/light, etc.

Check to see if you have any of these things in your daughter's bathroom.

It's possible it was originally used to control an electric floor radiant grid that has since had a break in the wire grid under the floor & is no longer working.
