    Good afternoon,
My Mother is the owner of her one bedroom house in Willis TX. We want to do the work as soon as possible. We have called several contractors to give us an estimate on her house, but they are either too expensive or not insured. Most will not provide any references. We need someone to give us some help. She is seventy years old so mabey she can qualify for a grant if the loan we have isn't enough.
The house is leaning and it is on stilts. We want to put it closer to the ground to avoid this happening in the future.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Your first concern is to figure out why the house is leaning. If the pilings were not set properly, the lean may be caused because of sinking in that area. Lowering the house won't help if a few of the pylons are still sinking.
I suffer from CDO ... Its like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!
