    Default swimming pool

I removed an above ground pool and iI now have a 3 foot hole in my back yard. there is a lot of sand and landscaping rocks around the perimiter . How can I best fill this hole and grade the yard to graw grass? Can I put some of the rocks in the hole ? I,vebeen told the rocks will work there way up to the surface .

Rocks will generally work their way up to the surface.

I would just buy a load of topsoil and fill the hole. Some quick calculations will tell you how much is needed. You might also want to till some of the top soil in with the sand. Mound up the soil. It will settle.
I would get rid of the rocks. The will probably frost heave & eventually work their way to the surface.
