Default gas fireplace always shutting off

    Hi,

i have a gas fireplace, and every 7-10 mins of it being on, it automatically shuts off. if i want to turn it back on, i have to completely turn it off, and turn it back on, and that will last another 7-10 mins. it seems like there is no air inside for the gas to breathe? im not sure. does anyone know what is going on or have/had the same issue?

Sounds like its dirty, Get a can of spray air and clean all the parts. Dust, spider webs and other debris will shut it down. The unit is doing what it's supposed to do by shutting down. Its a safety feature.....
