    Default Copper vs. Galvanized

I am remodeling a bathroom to my 1955 house. I have the bathroom down to the studs and I am wondering if I should replace the existing galvanized pipes in the shower with copper. The pipes look ok, but I realize this will be my only chance to replace them. Any advice on the copper vs. galvanized would be greatly appreciated!

I would. Seems like a cheap insurance policy.

I take it we are talking water distribution, if so ,like the above posters, replace no question. If just vents on the drainage leave.
