    Default Dryer Vent

We just put a new addition on and relocated the laundry room to the 2nd floor. The dryer vents to the outside at the corner of the house above a window and small deck/landing. It makes a huge mess of lint that sticks to the screen window and door, and also all over the deck and clapboard siding. How can this be fixed?

Well, it could be worse. I had a house where the dryer vented on the front door mat. I solved the problem by building an additional box in-line with the vent hose and used hand cut filter media to make replaceable filters.

You really need to remember to replace the filters though.

You can try an inline lint trap installed on the vent
