    Default Window apron return

    Hello all,

I want to install a window apron with a mitered return such as shown in the picture. How do I do that? Is it just like crown with a spring angle of 0 (or 90)? What are the miter and bevel angles? If I just do a 45 bevel with a 45 return it ends up square. I'd like it slightly angled so I imagine I need a compound cut.

    Thanks for any help.

If you're using the molding in the picture, you don't need a compound cut for a slight angle because that molding is thicker on one edge than the other. A normal 45* cut as you would for any outside corner is all that is needed. If you're using a perfectly flat molding, then you'd have to hold it at the desired angle when cut.
I suffer from CDO ... Its like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!
