Default Fixing Small Hole in Cast Iron Radiator

During my renovation I rolled a cast iron radiator outside for sanding and painting and noticed a small hole (less than 1/8 inch wide). I'm not sure how long it's been there (the hole was facing towards the wall). My questions are...

    1) can the hole somehow be fixed, perhaps with an epoxy or some type of filler?

    2) the height of the radiator is 22 inches and the hole is 6 inches from the top. Does the hot water ever get that high? I never noticed it leaking before.

    Thanks.

You can drill, tap and install a screw.
