    Default Painting a gambrel house

I have a gambrel style house with a mudroom to the left of one of the sides. I dont have scaffolding or a lift to be able to paint the side of the house above the mudroom. does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? Thank you.

I have attached a pic. The spots I need painted are the ones on the side of the house above the mudroom on both sides of the chimney. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

You can't reach the soffits by standing on the roof? If you don't want to rent a lift to get you there, then build a scaffold so that you can use a ladder. Span the scaffold across the ridge so that it's uses both sides of the roof for stability.
