Default Probs w/siliconized caulk eating windows?

Anyone heard of problems w/silicone eating away at the inside of the window? Some window installers have told me that they are no longer using siliconized caulk for this reason.

*** i've never heard of this. I've always used 100% silicon caulking around window frames. Please reply to this if you find out more...i'll be replacing my windows soon and would like to know if this is an issue.
