    Default Deck and retaining wall

My house is built on a hill and one end of the deck is set on a retaining wall. The retaining wall is crumbling and the deck is sagging. Does anyone know the best (read easiest) way of replacing the wall and fixing the deck?

Was the retaining wall built right? Why's it crumbling first and foremost?
    IS the hill eroding?
You can dig and pour piers and install a new main girder under the deck but if the hills moving so might you when you're onthe deck no matter whatcha do.
