Default What is the best toilet for 1950's house?

We are a young couple who will purchase a 1950's house in Houston? The pipes are old galvanized pipes, with average wear. The water pressure is somewhat low and we were wondering what would be the best toilet to use on the budget. We have been quoted $1,000 dollars to replace two toilets, the brand he mentioned was Gerber. I did look at the local hardware store for toilet brands such as: American Standard, Kohler, etc. If anyone can help us out or give us some directions, we would really appreciate it.

I think it is best to use HCG. Hope you like it.
