Default How to Identify Chandelier Manufacturer

Any idea on how to identify a chandelier manufacturer? We moved into an 1898 four-square and need to add a couple of new fixtures in the pantry and kitchen. We love the fixtures in the dining and living areas, but have no idea where to find them. Searches with Lamps Plus, Quoizel, Lowes and Home Depot came up blank.

I would assume the fixtures were purchased within the last 10 years. There are not any manufacturer markings on the bulb sockets. The metal is bronze to copper with green accents. The glass globes are white and frosted with etching/lines. The glass globes have 3 sets of fluting around the edges. One fixture has 5 upward globes and the other fixture has 6 upward globes and a center globe.

    Thanks!! Leslie

Those are nice looking fixtures, but the photos are not too good. There are literally millions of fixtures out there. You might try taking the fixtures down and see if there is a brand name on the top. Chances are they were either bought at Lowes or Home Depot and are no longer a current model, or they came from a lighting showroom or electrical wholesaler in your city.If it was one of the first two you will not find anyone who can tell you, as they constantly change products and employees. And, since their products are China imports, they can't special order ones no longer stocked. If it was one of the last two, some good photos may help them find the brand. Good Luck

The other thing you can try is doing an image search like http://images.search.yahoo.com/searc...0&pstart=1&b=1

And going through the multiple pages and see if you find a match.
