I have a 1904 2-story farmhouse. The lower level is stone, and the 2nd floor is white sidng. The main entrance used to be on the front of the house, with floor-to-ceiling windows on either side and a wrap around covered porch. That door has been sealed up and the main entrance is now on the side of the house. We want to do something with the old door, but don't know what. Inside the house, there is a wall where the door used to be, with just the windows remaining. I'm looking for ideas on what to put in place of the old door. I'm not really interested in trying to match the old stone, nor in putting another window there. The only idea I've had is to possibly put an opaque stained glass window there so that I can keep the wall on the inside. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
