Replacement window inserts--sill doesn't quite match
I put in two replacement window inserts, Pella, nice item. However the slope of my old window sill is down about a half inch below the sill of the new alum. clad. -- doesn't look really too bad, but is there some filler strip or some idea as to what to fill in about a half inch space...as viewed from the outside. I am thinking about creating something or just do nothing, but thought I would ask here first. I guess my sill had a different pitch--house built in 1953. They insert from the inside and push up against the blind stop. (Measurement was quite critical..I learned.)
Thanks in advance.

As I look down the list of posts, there seems to be lots of views, but not many replies. Oh well....
