We recently discovered we have a leak in the house pipes, which are buried under a concrete slab. We live in central Florida. We have already shut off the main valve which stopped the meter from moving, so we know the leak is after that shut off point. We know that a camera can be run through the pipes to find all kinds of problems, our question is: Once the problem (leak) is found, can a sleeve be placed at that point to effectively block the leak or must we have our house jackhammered to death to dig up all the pipes and replace? It is typical of Florida homes to have the water/sewer pipes buried into the foundation. Help?
