Default ceramic floor or toilet first?

We are installing a ceramic floor and new toilet. Previous flooring was carpeting over wood. Do we install the base floor and tile first or install the toilet extender first?

You are better off installing the floor first then making the soil stack flush to 1/4" above the finished floor.

That's the way we did ours and works fine with an extra wax ring.

IMHO, it's easier to install the extender first and tile up to it. The extender should be flush or slightly proud of the tile.
I suffer from CDO ... Its like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!
