    Default Casement Window Trim

I've become pretty adept at rehabbing my own double-hung windows over the years, but now a friend needs help with casement windows. Any tips on similarities/differences?

    Many thanks!

Chris, Did you ever get any advice? I'm working on my windows, and need some need hinges to go with my antique hinges. Any idea where I can find them?

double hung windows operate completley different than a casement. double hungs have sashes that slide up or down in the frame to open them where as the sash in a casement operates like a door it swings open at the side via a crank on the inside
fire up the saw and make some dust

Most all casement window require an extension jamb to get it flush with the wall before you can trim it.
