Question ceiling fan light - fitter replacement

I was hoping to avoid replacing the whole ceiling fan light since only one of three sockets (fitters?)is intermittently malfunctioning. I have found replacement parts but don't understand the repair process and how the required parts disassemble. I could use some help with this small project.

This is kind of a hard thing to describe. Does the new socket have wires already attached to it or do you have to salvage the existing wire in the fixture? If the socket is pre-wired, then it's only a matter of disconnecting them from within the housing, then removing replacing the socket and reattaching the connections.

If the socket has no wires attached, then you'll have to open up the existing bad socket to salvage the wire OR purchase the same size and type of wire and make your own connections.

You can probably find an image and/or wiring diagram for your brand/model fan if you Google it.
I suffer from CDO ... Its like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!
