    Default hardwood flooring vapor barrier

I am installing northern white pine flooring in a small cabin built on 12 x 12 skids. Instructions for installations where moisture may transfer from the subfloor I believe recommend 15 pound felt paper. I want to find out if I can use Tyvek instead, on top of the two sheets of 3/4" plywood (bottommost is treated.) I know Dupont recommends against using it in an area where it will be walked on to avoid accidents, but I am not concerned with that.

Howdy which side of the flooring are you planning to allow the water moisture to travel to? Tyvek is designed as a air barrier not moisture.
