Hi All,

I'm looking for opinions, advice thoughts...etc.

I need to replace the old bathroom ceiling. I have old house and the ceiling is this wierd, cardboard-ish "stuff", just a bunch of wierd squares. I dont think its original to the house but anyways, behind it is the lath.

I'm considering using blueboard to replace this stuff and simply screwing it into the studs.

My questions are...

Do I need to use a certain type of paint for the bathroom? Mold resistant or whatever?

How should I cut the blueboard? meaning, I've never done this before. The bathroom ceiling shape is a small rectangleshould I cut two pieces or one rectangle and install it like that?

Thanks!

KC
