    Question Hot Water Temp Spikes

Any suggestions for why we would have spike in hot water temps? It runs normal, then scalding the next day.

    Thanks,

my guess is the supply is already pre warmed on the "spiking" days.

My first thought is, you turn on the faucet/shower head first thing in the morning, get things done before the pipes have fully warmed up and have brought up the truly "hot" water into the room.

My second thought, the spouse has already had a shower, or has been doing dishes and laundry all day could lower your chances of getting fresh waiting to used heated water.
