    Default Rusting bathroom radiator cover.

We have a forced hot water radiator that runs next to the toilet. The cover is rusting.

Is there any way to paint the cover or should the cover be replaced?

Can the cover be replaced without replacing the heating element?

Is there any other material that covers are made of that will not rust?

    Thank you.

you talkin' like baseboard radiators? those you can get covers for...yep.
But any which way you go you can sand down the existing radiators real smooth n purdy the prime em' and paint em'. If you're worried you can buy cans of spray paint that are made for wood stoves but I think thats over kill and I think those only come in black. I've painted radiator covers years ago and they were fine for years...presently...in my house now...I've made my own covers out of wood...stained em' and polyed em'

One room I did them in was a bathroom and the other was in my meditation room.
