Default Why use cpvc in a camp?

Just wondering if there a reason that most camps (seasonal homes) that I have been to in the north east specifically NY, uses cpvc for the supply water. There is some copper but 98% cpvc.

    Thanks...

$$$$$$$ and it's easier for non skilled people to work with and it doesn't get pinhole leaks from acidic water would be my guess.

I would concur that it is to save money on installation and repairs. But today with PEX I would strongly suggest using that if you are building a camp or redoing plumbing in your camp that you take a look at using pex. it is much easier than cpvc and will last much much longer.
