    Default Bathroom floor leak

    I HAD a new toiletput in because of a leak in the floor,that came throu my kitchen celling,the toilet is not leaking,but if water gets on the floor its still come thro,is there any kind of insulatetioni can put between the celling and floor to keep the celling from falling

    The first question is where is all the water coming from?

    If you've got enough water coming through to the ceiling, then it's a heck of a lot more than surface moisture from a shower or general use of the bathroom. My suspicion is a drain leak, either from the toilet or accompanying shower or vanity.

    To answer your question, no, there is nothing you can put in the ceiling cavity to absorb the moisture or stop the water intrusion to the kitchen. Finding the source of the problem will be the only remedy.
    I suffer from CDO ... Its like OCD, but in alphabetical order, LIKE IT SHOULD BE!!!
