    Default making glass block window

I want to install glass blocks instead of standard window in my home. Is it advisable and how do I go about it.

Yes, you can do a glass block window. You go about it by hiring a professional to do it for you. There is far more to it than the mechanics of slapping some block in a hole. It's too easy to screw up and it's too easy to have leaks, this is not a DIY project.

Window units are made with 'glass block' glazing. These come in standard sizes and install the same as any new-construction flanged window. The look is quite the same but these "blocks" are thinner. If you want real glass block, best to get an experienced mason to handle this.
