Default Asbestos concerns in flooring of a 1890 home

I have been remodeling a 1890 +/- home, room by room since 1991. I am tearing out an existing upstairs bathroom right now. There is a ":vinyl" type flooring down that has a 1/4" fiber like board underneath that I'm curious about. How do you recognize if there is a possibility of asbestos in any of this flooring material? All the other rooms have their original white pine flooring and I have never been concerned. I've painted this floor a couple of times over the last 20 years.

The only real way is to have it tested. Asbestos is only a concern if it's disturbed and creates dust.
