    Default Pressure tank placement

About 3 yrs ago we had the pressure tank and filters moved out of the laundry room in the basement of the house to an outside well house in order to make more room in the laundry room. Since then it seems that the pressure in the upstairs especially has fallen off. Could the distance from the house play a part in this water pressure issue? About 25 yards from the original position.

You may have put a restriction in your supply line when you moved the tank and filters.

What size line goes from the well to the house, and what does it feed in the house? With the pressure tank closer, it was able to help supply adequate flow because of the higher pressure, but with it father away there will be less of that due to friction losses in the pipe.
