    Question gfci outlets

I have a new TIKI HUT next to the pool. I want to run a dedicated 20 amp GFCI circuit to it,for lighting and outlets. The electrical panel is 170 feet from the TIKI HUT.

My question is,is their a distance limitation for GFCI circuit breaker . Thanks

The distance should have no affect on the GFCI but you will have voltage drop issues. I limit using #12 to 150'. Between 150' and 250' I use #10 on a 20amp circuit.

You also need to check with your building department, there are very strict rules and requirements for electricity in a pool area.
