    Default 1x1" ceramic tile floor

I have a 1950's ceramic tile floor with 1x1" tiles. I have cleaned it over and over again, but the grout is still dark.
Can I re-grout and seal it? What should I use?

If the grout is of a uniform dark color, it may have have been a dark colored grout to begin with, especially if the tiles are hex shaped instead of square. A 1" white hex tile floor with dark grey or black grout is a very high quality floor, if the tiles are well laid. That is a very difficult floor to make look good and took a highly skilled tile setter to achieve it.

Typically the only color choice was grey.

Re grouting such small tiles is a huge job. Consider all options before you get going on this.
