    Question Painting Skylights?

We have purchased 5 new bronze color skylights for the bonus room or our new garage (now under construction). I would like the color on the skylights changed to match the Marvin Evergreen windows and the Hunter Green shingles. In searching Marvin and Anderson window websites, the only info I can find is to use a fast drying alkyd primer and semi-gloss paint.

Do any of you painting pros have a suggestion on which type of paint would be best for this project?

    Belindac,

I would bow to your manufacturer's recommendation to use an oil based primer. For the finish coat, I would switch to an acrylic trim paint. Acrylics are much more color fast. They will not oxidize and change color with age. If given a color sample, any good paint store can computer match the color of your windows.
