Default How to stop paint from becoming sticky when hot

I have painted wooden folding chairs with vinyl seats. When its really hot and the chairs are folded - the paint gets sticky and adheres to the vinyl - ripping it when you open the chair. Does anyone know of any type of sealer that can be used to stop this from happening? Thanks

What type of paint did you use? Also what type of primer?

The best prevention is in the prep before painting starting with a clean surface, a good primer, and likely an enamel paint for your application that has been allowed to cure for a few days or weeks before use.
