    Default Another hardwood floor

Bought a 1961 house and I am simply curious about this. Carpet yanked out revealing some nice hardwood floors but in some of the rooms, the floor has white paint on them. It's not thick like they were painting the floor, and it's equally applied across the room. It's a really thin coat of white almost wall to wall. Why would they do that?

I don't know why I didn't think of that... so simple and that has to be it. I was just dumbfounded by the white paint yesterday. Thanks

You probably want to refinish your floor. The sander will remove this white adhesive.

Hardwood from the sixties is very, very good.
