## help me!!!!!

how do I figure out how many yards I need of topsoil

2. ## Re: help me!!!!!

Length x width x depth.
Example: 10 feet wide, 10 feet long and 4 inches deep (.34 feet ) = 34 cubic feet.

One cubic yard = 3 feet x 3 feet x 3 feet = 27 cubic feet

34 cubic feet divided by 27 cubic feet = 1.26 yards of material.

Where this calculation starts getting tough is figuring out if delivery truck A leaves the supplier at 10:45 traveling at 40 miles per hour and delivery truck B leaves the supplier at 11:15 traveling 50 miles per hour, how much beer do you have to have on hand to get your buddies to come over and spread it for you?

The answer to your riddle is... "ZERO"...I know this because it is impossible to get buddies to come over to help spread topsoil when beer is involved. They'll come over, but just to help with the beer and watch you do the topsoil while giving you pointers and suggestions the entire time. Everyone's an expert, and experts with beers are considered bosses.

1) If you're spreading topsoil, it's nice outside, sunny...warm.
2) Once a beer is cracked open on a nice day...and buddies are there...works done.
3) The proper way is to offer beer for work completed...i.e. bar bill.
