    Default Plaster & drywall?

    Hello,

I have a section of wall in our house that I need to take out a little area of plaster to get behind the wall for some plumbing repairs. When I finish that, what is the easiest way to patch the section? The area will probably be 2ft x 3ft and I was hoping to use blueboard or cementboard, but am unsure if these will merge with the plaster very well. Any help is appreciated!

Go to Ace Hardware and check out their bathroom access panel. It just snaps into place without any special framing. It can be removed anytime. Maybe you can find one to fit the size you need, or if you haven't opened the wall yet you can cut the wall to meet the panel size. Good Luck.

Thanks, Calcats. I will look into that as an option.
