Default Adding a new zone to a single zone forced hot air system without new duct work

Hi new to posting here. I need help adding a new zone to a single zone forced hot air system. I recall seeing Richard help a homeowner do this on a show a few years back. The show was about adding a baffle system in the existing duct work and adding a new thermostat in the new zone. I can't locate anyone near my home that knows how to do this. My home is in Woodstock, VT. Any helpful suggestions appreciated. Thanks

I've read about a technique using balancing dampers (which can e electonically or thermostat controllled) to balance or vary airflow by room. Not sure whether multiple dampers could be interconnected to create a zone (e.g., for bedrooms), but asking local contractors a diffeent way might spark some ideas.

Yes, your best course of action would be calling local HVAC contractors for suggestions.
