    Default Air blister

    How can I remove a air blister on a tabletop veneer, the veneer is rosewood

    1. use a very sharp razor blade and make a small slit that runs with the grain in the top of the bubble.
    2. put a small amount of wood glue on something so that you can push down one side of the bubble to get some glue into it then push down the side you put some glue under so that you can get some glue into the other side.
    3. use a small dowel to rub back and forth on the bubble to push the bubble down so that it's nice and flat
    4. wipe off any excess glue with a damp sponge.
    5. put a flat piece of wood on top of the bubble and clamp it down or put something very heavy on it.
    6. let it sit over night
    7. after it's dry, if it needs it, very very lightly sand it to make it flat, be careful not to go all the way through the veneer.
    8. stain to match the table top.
