Unhappy Electrical wiring is outside baseboard in 100-yr-old house

The walls are plaster or exterior walls are solid brick, this house was rewired some time ago but on the second floor the wiring was put outside the baseboards and sometimes the wiring extends behind radiators. How do you manage to get this wiring into the wall behind the baseboard where there is a radiator?
    Thanks

This is a big job, and you need an electrician to help you here.

I have had an electrician look at it - this is his concern, how to remove the baseboard behind the radiator. There isn't a lot of space to work with.

No mentionwas made if there is access to the 2nd floor from the attic.

A lot of the older homes have "ballon" construction and no insulation in the walls or attic.

If so new wiring could be brought into the attic to a subpanel and literally dropped into the walls to switches and receptacles, as I've done many times.

Walk around up there with a flashlight, you might be pleasently surprised!
