Lightbulb New use for old kitchen cupboards

I was forced to remodel my kitchen because it was invaded by a family of five bears. I took the remaining doors off of the old cupboards, repainted the cupboards and stacked them in a closet near the kitchen for additional kitchen storage.

    Mine are in the garage.

    The cabinets, not the bears.

My brother in law redid his kitchen, pulling out some very nice oak cabinets. Then I discovered that a kitchen's worth of cabinets only does half as much kitchen becuase of unusable pieces.

I was in the middle of replacing ratty lino in the laundry room with tile so...

We are now the only house in the neighbourhood with a full set of oak cabinets in the laundry.

    Old mother Hubbard
    Went to the cupboard
To fetch her poor dog a bone.
    But when she got there
    She found but a bear
And how mother Hubbard did run.
