Im in the process of buying a house that was built between 1725-1750. In the upstairs there is a room that was converted into a bathroom. The previous owners were in the process of renovating said bathroom when they sold the house. Now there are bare walls in the bathroom, exposing the back of the original plaster of the adjoining bedrooms. There are some cool fetures exposed now such as hatchet marks where the dormers were framed into the rafters. Is there anyway to make a window with glass or plexiglass to seal out the steam/moisture from the bathroom and replace plaster around it? Any suggestions? Its hard to look at features when covered up.
